Seiko Men's Miscellaneous

While the Seiko Group Company (Seikō Gurūpu kabushiki gaisha) creates many products, Seiko is undoubtedly most known for its watchmaking. The company, founded in Tokyo in 1881 by Kintarō Hattori, was the first to commercially release quartz wristwatches by introducing the Astron 35SQ in 1969, completely revolutionizing the horology industry, which until then only knew mechanical wristwatches.

After its success in 1969, Seiko kept expanding, introducing the iconic Seiko 6309 and the 6139 Pogue, as well as a range of futuristic digital Seiko watches in the 1980s. The company also produced watches in the high-luxury segment until Grand Seiko became independent in 2017. Over the years, Seiko has collaborated with fashion brands like Supreme and Issey Miyake on exclusive collections of clocks and watches. Seiko's watches are still made exclusively in Japan and they remain one of the biggest watch producers in the world.
