ROA Hiking is an Italian outdoor gear brand founded in 2015 by footwear designer Maurizio Quaglia and the people behind Milanese retailer Slam Jam. ROA Hiking made its mark on the scene through hiking footwear and boots, including gorpcore staples like ROA's Katherina and Minaar, as well as a more traditional approach to hiking boots with ROA Andreas.
ROA is named after Forcella della Roa, a mountain peak in the Italian Dolomites. Although their origins are in footwear, ROA apparel has proven itself with cutting-edge ready-to-wear designs suitable for both climbing the Alps and skimming the streets.
