Rip Curl Men's Cloaks & Capes
Rip Curl is an Australian surf brand founded in 1969 by Brian Singer and Doug Warbrick. Based in Torquay, Victoria, it is known as one of the pioneering Australian surf brands, along with Billabong and Quiksilver. Singer and Warbrick started Rip Curl manufacturing and selling surfboards out of Singer's garage in Bell Beach. The two quickly expanded into gear and accessories, selling millions of Rip Curl wetsuits and clothing worldwide. Rip Curl has been owned by outdoor brand Kathmandu since 2019. While it stays true to its surf origins, organizing surf competitions both in Australia and globally, the brand also sells outdoor equipment and gear for other sports, such as skateboarding and snow sports.
