Porter Men's Gloves & Scarves
Porter was established in 1962 by Kichizo Yoshida, a famed bag craftsman who had made bags in his Tokyo workshop since 1935. The name Porter was derived from the porter men who helped load and unload luggage in hotels. As the first private brand under the Yoshida & Co., Ltd. company, Porter introduced durable Japanese-made luggage items such as tanker bags, backpacks, and wallets inspired by the military, using nylon as its base fabric. Yoshida Kaban's nylon Porter bags became the most popular bags in global streetwear thanks to their durability, utility, timeless looks, and lightweight materials. As a result, Porter Yoshida has collaborated with a large group of streetwear and high-fashion brands, including Junya Watanabe, Palace, BAPE and Stone Island.
