Pierre Cardin Men's Formal Shoes
Pierre Cardin was born Pietro Constante Cardin near Treviso, Italy, in 1922. To escape fascist regimes in Italy, Cardin's family fled to France when Cardin was a child, and he grew up in Saint-Etienne until he moved to Paris to work in fashion. Cardin worked for Schiaparelli and Dior in Paris before starting his eponymous house in 1950. Pierre Cardin's label became known for its futuristic designs, space-age aesthetics, and geometric shapes. Cardin built a notorious reputation as the "enfant terrible" of fashion thanks to his unusual approach to haute couture and ready-to-wear. Cardin died in 2020, but his house lives on through collections that honor his legacy, as well as a vast licensing offering including Pierre Cardin cologne, luggage, bags and watches.
