Parra Men's Heavy Coats
Pieter Janssen, better known as Piet Parra, is a Dutch artist, designer and musician known for his colorful figures of abnormal shapes, animals and humans. Parra was born in 1976 and grew up in a small town east of the Netherlands. He developed a passion for skating early, eventually becoming Dutch champion. After moving to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam, Parra became part of the local music scene, designing flyers, logos and other graphics for local hip-hop artists and stores like Patta and Woei. While Parra's career as a designer and artist took off, he founded his own brand in 2002, Rockwell. Later rebranded to ByParra, the streetwear label uses Parra's signature color palette, including quirky doodles and playful lettering. Parra has worked with ASICS, Vans, Converse, and Nike, with whom he made some of the most coveted Nike Air Max silhouettes.
