Paolo Gucci Men's Footwear
Paolo Gucci was an Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur who helped propel the house of Gucci to world fame in the 1960s and 1970s. The grandson of founder Guccio Gucci, Paolo eventually separated himself from the brand after conflicts with the family, subsequently starting his own line of Paolo Gucci designs in the late 1980s. Born in Florence in 1931, Paolo Gucci became known for the extravagant handbags and jewelry he designed for his eponymous brand, Paolo, by Paolo Gucci. The Paolo Gucci brand was relatively short-lived. The designer died in 1995, which cleared the way for Gucci to absorb the brand and stop all production.
