Moschino Men's Formal Trousers
After working several years as a sketch artist for Versace and designing for the Italian fashion house Cadette, Franco Moschino launched his eponymous label in 1983 with the Moschino Couture collection. The Italian brand quickly became revered for its use of pop culture and art references and subversive approach to fashion. After Franco Moschino died in 1994, his former assistant, Rosella Jardini, became the brand's creative director until 2013. American designer Jeremy Scott took over the helm in 2014 and would revive the brand's relevancy to its highest point with his signature playful postmodern designs before handing over the baton to Argentinian designer Adrian Appiolaza in 2024. Through the brand's different subsidiaries, like the Love Moschino denim line and Moschino perfumes, as well as collaborations with H&M and Palace, it finds different outlets for its maximalist design ethos.
