Malcolm James McCormick, better known as Mac Miller, was a rapper and producer. Born in Pittsburgh in 1992, Miller rose to prominence after releasing his first mixtape, K.I.D.S., in 2010. His 2011 debut studio album, Blue Slide Park, was the first independently distributed debut album to hit number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the 21st century.
