Kanghyuk

Kanghyuk is a conceptual ready-to-wear line launched in 2017 by South Korean designers Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon. The duo started the brand shortly after graduating from the Royal College of Art in London, UK. In 2019, they were nominated for the LVMH prize. Kanghyuk expertly deconstructs wardrobe staples to create reworked post-apocalyptic offerings.

Kanghyuk’s utilitarian outerwear and jackets are known for their distinct textures, meticulous cuts, and subtle expert detailing. Inspired by sportswear and traditional menswear tailoring, Kanghyuk items are constructed from practical technical fabrics such as nylon and Gore-Tex polyester. Kanghyuk frequently collaborates with Reebok to create modern functional sneakers.
