Established in Paris in 1976, Equipment is a Los Angeles-based fashion label. Equipment clothing is known for its minimalist look and high quality materials. Originally founded by Christian Restoin, Equipment was relaunched in 2010 by entrepreneur Serge Azria, a member of the Azria family recognized for operating the BCBG fashion house. In the mid-aughts, silk Equipment [button up tops] (https://www.grailed.com/designers/equipment/tops) were everywhere with A-list stars such as Kate Moss and Katie Holmes sporting the look. Equipment is currently joined by sister brands Joie and Current/Elliott. Often made in neutral tones, Equipment’s modern silhouettes make everyday wardrobe staples.
