Energie Men's Leather Jackets
Energie was an Italian streetwear brand founded in 1983 by Wicky Hassan. The brand was wildly popular in the 1990s, thanks to its street-influenced and distressed designs and the recognizable E logo on the jeans' back pockets. Born in Tripoli, Libya, Hassan came to Italy as a refugee. He built up a fruitful fashion career in Rome, importing Timberland, Converse and Levi's 501s before co-founding the Sixty Group, which included brands like Energie, Miss Sixty and Refrigiwear. Energie clothing largely disappeared from the limelight in the early 2000s, making vintage pieces from its 1990s peak all the rare.
