Comme des Garcons Homme Men's Cloaks & Capes

Launched in 1978, Comme des Garçons Homme marked Comme des Garçons’ first foray into menswear. Commonly referred to as CDG Homme, the line is helmed by Junya Watanabe, protege of CDG founder Rei Kawakubo. With CDG Homme, the avant-garde sensibilities of the main womenswear line were introduced in an approachable and timeless manner to a new menswear audience. Encompassing all elements of a well-crafted wardrobe, Comme des Garcons Homme’s workwear-inspired collection of tops, bottoms, outerwear, and accessories continues Kawakubo’s vision of trendless architectural silhouettes bolstered by meticulous attention to craftsmanship. Specifically, Comme des Garçons Homme bomber jackets and Comme des Garçons Homme blazers are highly sought after.

The CDG universe expanded even more with the introduction of Comme des Garçons Homme Plus in 1984. The line more directly translates the subversive looks of Comme des Garçons’ original womenswear line for menswear clients. The new collection became known for culture-defining collaborations such as Comme des Garcons Homme Plus x Junya Watanabe, Comme des Garcons Homme Plus x Nike, and Comme des Garcons Homme Plus x The Rolling Stones.
