Bode Men's Sweatpants & Joggers

Designer Emily Bode launched her namesake brand in 2016. Bode’s menswear line crafted of rare 19th and 20th century quilts and vintage ephemera became an instant staple for men and women alike. Antique lace doilies and grain sacks influence the line’s French workwear inspired jackets and highly coveted button up shirts. Bode shorts, taking cue from the midwestern tradition of decorating graduation cords with yearbook-like doodles, are admired for their one-of-a-kind beauty and effortless ease. In 2023, Bode launched its much anticipated womenswear collection. Bode, a Parsons graduate with internships at Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, and Reformation, has collected vintage textiles and quilts since childhood. Bode operates retail outposts in New York and Los Angeles decorated with wood paneling and custom hand-painted mural work reminiscent of Bode’s upbringing in Atlanta, Georgia. In New York, the brand also operates a stand alone repair and tailoring store finished off with Indian-style coffee and treats. A stone's throw away, bartenders’ at the brand’s dimly lit The River bar offer refreshments while wearing Bode-made uniforms. Finishing off the Bode universe is highly-sought after wooden furniture made by Emily Bode’s husband, Aaron Singh Aujl, who leads the Brooklyn-based furniture and design studio Green River Projects.
