Berlin-based media and fashion company 032c was founded in 2001. Helmed by husband and wife duo Joerg and Maria Koch, 032c started as a fashion magazine known for its distinct art direction and cutting-edge cultural commentary. Since 2015, 032c has produced a streetwear-inspired ready-to-wear collection known for its forward-looking designs and cult following. The 032c fashion line started as a couple of simple merch drops. But the ensuing demand convinced the team at 032c to continue melding its culture-making point of view into a full collection spanning 032c branded hats, sweatshirt hoodies, denim and outerwear. 032c frequently collaborates with brands specializing in products outside of its wheelhouse. Collaborations such as 032c x Adidas and 032c x Birkenstock resulted in highly coveted everyday footwear options in the magazine’s disincentive minimalist aesthetic.

032c magazine is known for its record keeping of avant garde design. Readers tune in to learn about the latest Helmut Lang and Raf Simons designs. Photographer duo Inez and Vindoodh are frequent contributors to the magazine. The 032c name comes from the Pantone color swatch name for red. The 032c team is no stranger to the technicalities needed to create high end fashion collections, co-founder Maria Koch previously worked as a womenswear designer for Jil Sander and consulted for Kanye West’s Yeezy fashion line. The 032c fashion research and editorial teams work collaboratively. 032c apparel is made to be inherently wearable. The brand’s provocative graphics, unexpected details and deep cultural savvy are what brings the designs to life.
