Eastpak × Raf Simons

The inception of Raf Simons x Eastpak took place in 2007, when Raf Simons presented his Spring/Summer 2008 collection featuring co-branded backpacks and accessories, followed by two more collaborative collections. Roughly ten years later, the Belgian designer and American luggage brand found each other again, with three consecutive seasons of reworked Eastpak staples rendered with Simons' signature punk aesthetic. Eastpak is no stranger to the fashion realm. Originally a Boston-based bag producer for the US military, Eastpak has since become one of the go-to school bags and backpack brands, collaborating with Vetements, A.P.C., Telfar and Jean Paul Gaultier. Eastpak's partnership with Raf Simons lasted until the Fall/Winter 2020 season when the two introduced Simons' youth rebellion-inspired reworks of the Padded Pak'r.
