Dior × Hedi Slimane

Despite not having any official fashion schooling, Hedi Slimane had a wildly successful creative vision, which helped him become the creative director for Yves Saint Laurent, Dior and Céline. Slimane started as the creative director for Dior Homme in 2000 and helped revolutionize men's fashion thanks to his ultra-slim silhouettes. The Dior x Hedi Slimane era is marked by Slimane's signature skinny jeans with long inseams and heavy distressing. Some of the Slimae Dior jeans also carry shiny embellishments or leather panels. Despite his success at Dior, Slimane left the brand in 2007 after the plans to launch his own imprint under the Dior umbrella didn't come off the ground.
