Vintage Levis 505

While many brands have laid their claim in the denim world after Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis patented copper riveted jeans in 1847, there still is no competition with a classic pair of Levi's. The Levi's 501 are the undisputable pinnacle of classic denim, but with Levi’s vast range of collections and sublabels, they’ve managed to creat a various offering that matches their heritage. Tthe slightly roomier zip-fly 505 is a great example of that classic style Levi’s is known for. Introduced in 1967, the Levi’s 505 was designed with the punk rock era in mind. Levi’s has made multiple iterations of the straight leg jean, with the original replicas released through their Levi’s Vintage Clothing line (including the iconic pre-1971 big E Red Tab) as one of the standout editions.
