Stone Island Heat Reactive
Thanks to Stone Island's advanced design technologies, they've continued to push the fashion envelope for more than four decades. With Stone Island's thermosensitive fabrics, the Italian brand adds more playfulness to this legacy. Stone Island Heat Reactive items have micro-encapsulated colored pigment molecules embedded in the fabric. The molecules mutate when exposed to warmth, allowing the color of the fabric to change. Stone Island uses the Heat Reactive technology mostly on outerwear, such as shell jackets and parkas (like the one made with Supreme in 2016), but you might find an occasional hat or heat-reactive sweater in this collection as well.
