Rick Owens Jumbo Lace

As a reinterpretation of a reinterpretation, Rick Owens' jumbo lace shoes further expand the playfulness of the exaggerated silhouettes that Owens is known for. The American designer has experimented with big laces on many of his iconic silhouettes, including the Ramones and the Geobasket. While most standard Rick Owens silhouettes already come with an extra set of laces, the jumbo laces turn the cartoonish shape of the sneakers to the next level. The Jumbo Laces have been used for both his eponymous label and his DRKSHDW line, as well as his collaboration with Dr. Martens.
