Nike Triax Watch
While Nike is known for its innovations in sports gear and sneakers, the American sportswear brand should not be underestimated when it comes to lifestyle accessories like glasses and watches. The asymmetrical Nike Triax Watch, which debuted in 1998, is a testament to Nike's prowess, boasting a warped design that feels both retro and futuristic simultaneously. The Triax watch, which resembles fellow American sportswear innovator's Oakley Time Bomb, has sports features like a stopwatch, digital display light and water resistance. While the functionality of the Triax watch has since been replaced by features on the Apple Watch thanks to Nike's partnership with Apple, the Triax remains a great piece of late 1990s gorpcore design.
