When Nike officially took over the [NBA's](https://www.grailed.com/collaborations/nba-nike) uniform deal for $1 Billion in 2017, the American sportswear manufacturer revitalized the jersey styles for all 30 teams. Teams introduced a third jersey option through special Statement jerseys and [City Editions](https://www.grailed.com/browse/nba-city-edition-jersey), tied to the city's culture and changing each season. 
Among the 30 special jerseys each season, one of the stand-out designs is the Miami Vice jersey from the [Miami Heat](https://www.grailed.com/browse/miami-heat). Inspired by the city's retro look and feel, the Miami Heat City Edition jerseys featured retro fluorescent pink and turquoise, with the jerseys worn during the so-called Vice Nights in Miami. The first version was in white in 2017, followed successively by black, pink, and turquoise during the last seasons of Heat legend Dwyane Wade's career.
