Margiela Belt Jacket

As part of H&M's ongoing series of high-profile fashion collaborations, the Swedish mass-market retailer linked with Maison Martin Margiela in 2012 on Re-Edition. The Maison Margiela x H&M Re-Edition collection featured 40 pieces sourced from the Margiela archive, reissued at a more affordable scale and supplemented by exclusive never seen before items.

One of those pieces was the H&M x Maison Margiela Belt Jacket, a reissue from a design MMM released in 2007. Made from a collection of leather belts sown together, the biker-style jacket has become one of the highlights from the 2012 collection and remains a grail among Margiela fans to this day.
