Louis Vuitton Takashi Murakami Wallet
Takashi Murakami's iconic rework of the Louis Vuitton monogram first appeared in 2003. The Japanese artist was tapped by then-creative director Marc Jacobs to colorfully reimagine the French house's aesthetic, resulting in a very successful collection that still resonates more than two decades later.
The Louis Vuitton Murakami wallet is one of the key items from the LV x Takashi Murakami collaboration. The collab was repeated in 2025, bringing back the multicolored monograms on wallets with white and black backgrounds while also adding new Murakami LV wallets to the collection. In addition to new wallets, the collection featured keychains, footwear, belts, scarves, sunglasses and bags, combining the classic French design with Murakami's hyperpop aesthetic.
