Fortnite Balenciaga

Known for consistently subverting the fashion game ever since Demna Gvasalia took over as Creative Director in 2015, Balenciaga dove into another realm in 2021 by collaborating with the videogame franchise Fortnite, merging the digital with the physical in high-end fashion.

The physical part of the release was based on the fashion of the character Shady Doggo and included Fortnite Balenciaga t-shirts, denim jackets, hoodies, caps and shirts. The digital in-game release also came with exclusive items in the game's Item Shop, inspired by the Balenciaga archives.
