Cdg Nike Shox

Nike designer Bruce Kilgore started the Nike Shox project as early as 1984, experimenting with visible springs in the heel. However, the Shox technology didn't debut until the late '90s, hitting its peak during the 2000 Summer Olympics when Vince Carter dunked over 7'2" Frederic Weis in his Shox BB4. Shox have made their comeback in recent years, with Nike collaborating on them with Martine Rose and Comme des Garçons. The CDG Shox TL came out in the summer of 2019 in tonal white and tonal black, with a gold-colored CDG-branded chain around the midfoot. Released under the Comme des Garçons Black line, these pairs are part of a long line of CDG Nike shoes offering premium materials and intricate details on often monochrome renditions of Nike classics.
