Balenciaga 7 Layer Jacket

It wasn't the first time Balenciaga's Demna Gvasalia broke the internet, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. In March of 2018, the originally Spanish fashion house debuted the 7-layered coat, consisting of seven layers of shirts, hoodies, fleece jackets, and a parka joined together into one oversized coat. Although the reactions were mostly laughs, Balenciaga's Italian-made, seven-layered coat was, in fact, part of the brand's Fall/Winter 2018 collection and sold for $9000 at retail (which comes down to roughly $1285.71 per layer).
