By and large, boots were created with function, not form, in mind. They’re made for working in—or at least they were. But there’s something about a good pair of boots that stands out; they can elevate an outfit, tie together a look or turn inclement weather into an opportunity to wear something different. While sneakers have become the footwear of choice in recent years, a good pair of boots remains a statement piece—something you buy to last years, not a couple months.
