One of the best parts about The Last Dance, ESPN’s 10-part documentary on Michael Jordan and the 1997-1998 Chicago Bulls–aside from all the great untold stories–is reliving all the incredible Jordan moments through the years. The quotes, the fashion and most importantly, the shoes, really do transport you back to an era when Jordan and the Bulls ran the sports world.

The 1997-1998 season proved to be the final run for arguably the greatest dynasty the NBA had ever seen. Led by Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Phil Jackson, the Bulls capped off their second three-peat of the decade with an NBA Finals victory against the Utah Jazz. The team would quickly be torn apart by retirements and trades, but its legacy has endured, more than two decades later.

Jordan’s sneakers have as well, and will continue to do so for generations of sports and sneaker fans alike. His shoes have always served as necessary co-stars throughout his incomparable basketball career, accompanying him on every one of his unforgettable flights to the basket.

To commemorate The Last Dance and Jordan’s incredible kicks throughout the years, these are Jordan’s Best On Court Sneaker Moments.
