After months of rumors and previews, A$AP Rocky’s first shoe with Under Armour is finally hitting the streets.

Officially named the AWGE x Under Armour SRLo, Rocky’s first sneaker takes inspiration from an unlikely, albeit at this point predictable, source: the Osiris D3. While many would assume more recent chunky sneaker models like the Balenciaga Triple S or Raf Simons’ Adidas Ozweego would serve as the primary source material, the late ‘90s skate shoe caught Rocky’s attention years ago and—as some speculated—he could never quite let go. “It just seemed a hybrid of different sneakers mixed in one,” he said to GQ. “You got a Nike Air sole, a hiking boot at the top of it. The D3 reminds me of the Charles Barkley, some Air Maxes and a pair of Jordans. That's what I love about it.”

The SRLo pulls extensively from the D3 shape but updates the nearly 20-year-old model with Under Armour HOVR cushioning and reflective lacing. While only two colorways, black and black/white, are set to release, keep in mind that this is just the beginning of Under Armour’s partnership with Flacko and future releases are imminent.

The AWGE x Under Armour SRLo is set to release at a “pop-up skate rave” in Harlem on September 14. While only 250 pairs of each colorway will be released at $250 respectively, keep your eyes posted to Grailed’s Hype marketplace shortly after for your chance to cop.
