In 1998 Prada launched the house’s diffusion line, Prada Sport (officially known as “Linea Rossa”). The line, under the helm of Neil Barrett, aimed to tackle the space age of fashion with monochromatic nylon ensembles, designer sportswear and a simple, sporty logo. Inspired by the iconic nylon backpack released in 1984 under Miuccia Prada, the Prada Sport line continued to mix the industrial with the artisanal tradition of Prada’s past. The same ethos came into play for this Prada Sport golf bag. This fully-loaded bag pays homage to the styles of the label with it’s technical silhouette and contemporary design features. Contrast nylon detailing in different weaves and thicknesses and a rubber-branded “Linea Rossa” Prada Sport logo adorn the bag with other notable features including a segmented upper section for various clubs, a snap-off zip cover, a padded shoulder strap and RiRi zips.
