Last Thursday, Nike and Supreme released their latest collaboration, a jewel-swooshed SB Dunk in three distinct colorways. They instantly sold out, as is typically the case when Nike and Supreme get together for their annual collabs, and are already being listed on Grailed for at least double their retail price. It’s yet another successful chapter in the mutually beneficial relationship between Supreme and Nike, but more importantly, it’s a poetic callback to the pair’s first collaboration, the iconic 2002 Nike SB Dunk.

With the exception of the Air Jordan line, the meteoric rise of Nike SBs in the 2000s is one of the biggest reasons for our current flourishing sneaker climate. Kicks inspired by everything from pigeons to Tiffany & Co. jewelry boxes became some of the most talked about sneakers of the era. Releases turned into events, causing a frenzy every time new colorways dropped at sneaker boutiques across the world. 17 years removed from the first Supreme and Nike SB collaboration on the Dunk, SBs are back and still being sought out by sneakerheads all around the world.

Never forget: No online retailer has the same breadth and depth of selection as Grailed. From SB Dunk grails to Rick Owens..."Dunks" (and everything in between), in no particular order, these are our picks for the Rarest Sneakers on Grailed This Week.
