Last week Nike granted select SNKRS accounts another shot at scooping Nike SB’s coveted “Chunky Dunky” collaboration with ice cream giant Ben & Jerry’s. It was a rare second chance at one of the year’s most hyped releases. The opportunity flew by just as quickly as the alert popped into your inbox–no surprise to anyone who’s ever received a SNKRS-induced L.

No stranger to out of the box collaborations, the Nike SB “Chunky Dunkys” sport a hodgepodge of colors and patterns, from the Chunky Monkey ice cream box inspiration, to the blue sky/green grass upper, to cow-patterned pony hair overlays, to–the cherry atop the sundae, if you will–the “melted” yellow Swoosh. Some seeded pairs even came with actual cold ice cream in dry ice packaging.

The “Chunky Dunkys” are somewhat controversial in the sense that they may make some sneaker purists cringe with the offbeat patterns and over-the-top materials, but they are definitely different than your run-of-the-mill release, and easily one of the most sought-after sneakers of 2020.

No online retailer has the same breadth and depth of selection as Grailed. From Portugese-inspired Air Force 1s to Scottish Asics (and everything in between)–in no particular order, these are our picks for Grailed Sneaker Stories of the Week.
