"Most Expensive" is a weekly franchise documenting the top 10 most expensive listings sold on Grailed over the past seven days.
When we launched the "most expensive" franchise earlier this year, we had no clue what we were getting ourselves into. While we always knew that our community made big purchases from time-to-time, the frequency, selection and rarity of some of these sales blew us away—not to mention the sheer sticker shock. For anyone who's been keeping track, we sold not one, but two Raf Simons "Riot, Riot, Riot" bomber jackets, in consecutive weeks no less! While no one knows exactly how many of these are out there, the number is certainly low, and we never would have expected two to appear (and sell) in such a short span of time.
Apart from those two gargantuan sales, Saint Laurent Paris continued success proved just how committed Hedi Slimane fan boys are, while Goros runaway success shows that you don't necessarily need a world-recognized design pedigree to do numbers—all you need is a devout following.
Without further ado, here are our top ten sales of 2019.
