At a time when skateboarding, and the culture that surrounds it, is seemingly bigger than ever, you have to respect a brand that takes cues from the scene, but can still poke fun at the modern-day reality that many people who wear skate brands as a fashion statement simply—as the name implies—cannot actually skate.

Founded in 2014 by Kameron Austin—yes, an actual skateboarder and DJ—Cant Skate has grown a small cult following through tongue-in-cheek clothing, exclusive runs of limited-edition, custom-designed Nike Air Force 1s and collaborative events with the likes of Up&Down and Soho House. In the hopes of highlighting one of our favorite rising brands here in NYC, Grailed has teamed up with Austin to deliver a small selection of our own curated merch.

Entitled “Seaside Slum”, the capsule collaboration draws on memories of Dogtown and Z-Boys, referencing the era’s legendary pool skating scene. This comes through on T-shirts bearing the collection name, but especially via a tee featuring references to a fictitious pool pump and cleaning company.

Scope the selection of gear below and snag your own exclusively on Grailed before they’re gone forever. Oh, and don’t worry, you don’t need to know how to kickflip to cop.
