Worn enough to where the heels wore down to the midsole, I had my cobbler resole the area. To preserve the soles and prevent anymore wear on them, I added two layers of tape.

If the condition of the leather and suede isn't enough proof these shoes were well taken care of, then the midsole should seal the deal. Any marks on them aren't noticeable unless the shoe is near your face.

These came with black laces (a rarity in its own right), but I managed to obtain a set of white laces (which I'll also include) that has been used on the Surgery sneakers since the SS12 season. In other words, the laces are 20"/50 cm shorter from SS12 moving forward.

As you can already tell, this is the version with the black sole--the only season to feature a solid white or black rubber sole.

The shoes are tagged EU43, but run one size large so if you're typically a 44, these should fit you fine.
